Has Maths always been a weak area for your child? If so, GCSE Maths can really be a can of worms for those students who have always struggled with Maths.
There may be lots of areas of weakness and they simply don’t know where to begin. That is where we come in!
After a turbulent few years of lockdowns, it is more important than ever that every child reaches their full potential and gets that all-important grade 4 in their GCSE Maths
Our GCSE Maths group lessons suit any GCSE exam board that your child may be sitting in school and are only £20 per hour.
We make sure that our syllabus is applicable to all exam boards so that we can ensure your child is getting the best preparation.
Our group sessions are lively, intensive and definitely give our pupils that “light bulb moment”. We focus on the quality of teaching and the success of our pupils and because of that our maximum class size is 4 pupils per group.
This is to ensure that each pupil receives 1:1 help when needed within our lessons.
We focus on teaching the following skills:
A sound ability to complete mental arithmetic and work with numbers confidently. Ensuring all of the basics are in place in order to allow them to tackle the harder questions on the GCSE papers.
Developing confidence in all mathematical concepts taught at GCSE level in a way that can be applied to any question given.
Exam techniques will be a key focus on sessions as exams draw near. We will look at ways that students can put into practice their knowledge and ensure maximum marks.
Where and when do these lessons take place?
These lessons take place in our tuition centre on The Terrace in Torquay Harbour every week during term time:
Tuesday 4.45 – 5.45pm.
These will be taught by Safana, our resident Maths expert who has helped hundreds of children with their GCSE Maths over the years.
What extras will you get?
Every student will get access to our online Google Classroom, where you will be able to download homework, resources and past papers. Everything your child needs for their GCSE preparation and revision.
Weekly lesson notes sent to the parent’s email address, so you know what you child has done that week and what homework has been set.
First priority on GCSE revision classes that we run during the holidays.
Expert advice and attention whenever you need it; we are only ever an email away!
